JCI Greater Muskegon

We are a global movement that challenges the status quo. We inspire young people to recognize their responsibility to create a better world and empower them to drive change. MAKE A DIFFERENCE TODAY!

WHO ARE THE JCI?

The JCI Greater Muskegon (Junior Chamber International) is a chapter of the JCI -- a nonprofit organization not affiliated with any particular religion or political party. Comprised of young active citizens aged 21 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating an impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society. We develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding to make informed decisions and take action.

Our programs emphasize the development of individual members’ leadership and managerial skills through the running of projects that benefit our community and the JCI movement as a whole.  As a member of our chapter, you will also be a member of the Michigan JCI organization.

The JCI Greater Muskegon Chapter meets monthly to build connections and community. Notable JCI’s include Kofi Annan, Bill Clinton, Gerald R. Ford, John F. Kennedy, Tom Monaghan, Elvis Presley, Al Gore, Charles Lindbergh, Ted Turner, and Warren Burger.

HOW IS JCI DIFFERENT FROM OTHER NONPROFITS?

JCI members take the initiative to solve local challenges. More than a one-time donation or service opportunity, we focus on sustainable impact locally and globally. It only takes one active citizen to change the world. Be that active citizen today.

OUR MOTTO

The JCI Greater Muskegon Chapter aims to build personal and professional relationships as we work together on projects to strengthen and grow the Greater Muskegon community. We hope to add new members to increase the popularity of our shared interests. It is our shared vision that we become the largest and best JCI chapter in the State of Michigan.
